Journal Title: Indo American Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences - Year 2022, Vol 9, Issue 08
Abstract
The objective of present study deals with the development of a Pharmacognostical profile as well as and analytical and pharmacological evaluation of the Nephroprotective medicinal plant Portulaca oleracea are the goals were to collect and authenticate the investigational plant, evaluate Portulaca oleracea’s Pharmacognostical profile (macroscopic and microscopic), conduct a preliminary physico-chemical analysis of the plant, and extract its active ingredients. To standardise plant extracts through phytochemical investigations, develop an active Nephroprotective drug from Portulaca oleracea extracts, and assess Portulaca oleracea extract for Nephroprotective activity in vitro. Keywords: Portulaca oleracea, Nephroprotective, Pharmacognostical, GGT, Analytical evaluation.
