Abstract
The article analyzes the content of the subject "Folk crafts and artistic design" in the undergraduate course "Technological education" and the current state of the educational process, and suggests ways to improve it. The components of educational and methodological support aimed at shaping the professional competences of the technology teacher, and the work carried out on the creation and introduction of these educational tools into the educational process is highlighted.
