DEVELOPMENT OF SOME REVOLUTION SURFACES
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2015, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper work proposes practical graphic methods provided by Descriptive Geometry to plot the development of two revolution surfaces: the revolution surface having an oval as median section and the revolution surface having an ordinary curve as median section. The two surfaces were selected because their developments have similarities when plotted.

ASPECTS REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENTS OF COMPOUND SURFACES
The compound surfaces which form the technical parts of metal woks are very diverse. Their practical production involves solving certain geometrical problems through the methods of descriptive geometry. This article wish...
AN APPLIED METHOD TO SOLVE SOME TANGENT PROBLEMS
In descriptive geometry tangent problems are solved by using specific methods such as: changing the projection plans method or the rotation method. In some cases, solving such problems is not quite facile, for it involve...
FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS FOR PERIFLEX COUPLINGS
The Periflex shaft couplings with rubber sleeve have a hig elasticity and link two shafts in diesel-engine and electric drives. They are simple from the point of view of construction, easily mounted and dismounted. The m...
CONTEMPORARY DESIGN CONCEPTS IN CAMOUFLAGE: UNIVERSAL VERSUS SPECIALIZED
In present days there is a strong influence of the concept incorporating increased use of low intensive colours and small “digitalized” form structures for modern army camouflage designs. It was proclaimed as a revolutio...
