Abstract
The article highlights the essence of the concept of values and spiritual values, theoretically justified the need to develop personality in the younger school age precisely on the basis of Christian moral values. The article contains an analysis of the directions on which the development of the human person, including the spiritual one, is based. It’s about literary, visual and musical directions. Examples of forms of work in these areas within the primary school are given. A valuable role in the development of the personality of the younger schoolchild, including his desire for self-fulfillment, is carried out by the value sphere. It influences and models a person who will be capable of self-realization. What is «value» is intuitively clear to everyone. Things have a certain value for a person, but our interest, which forms the basis of orientation in life, really makes them valuable. On the other hand, our morals and values are influenced by the society in which we live and the social group in which we are currently located, that is, our social role role dominates. The personality of the child is manifested in her moral convictions and moral behavior, which are characterized by deeds, skills. To form the moral side of the personality must begin with childhood. A believer justifies his actions by morality as a system of rules of his life. Such a person is trying to find the right understanding of the concepts of «good» and «evil». In our opinion, the chosen person for studying directions - literary, visual and musical - is based on the development of the human personality. In the light of modern educational trends in primary education, the problem of developing new and selecting the most adequate age and peculiarities of development, social and moral education of methods and methods of work aimed at the development of self-activity, initiative, and creativity of the child in the formation of their own personality is important. Further, deeper and more complex research needs the problem of spiritual development of the individual, the development and implementation of the spiritual potential of children.
