DEVELOPMENT OF THE THEORIES OF INTERNATIONAL LABOR AND INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC INTEGRATION

Abstract
Purpose. Deepening the study of theories of the international division of labor, taking into account the existence of comparative advantages, the development of intra-industry trade, and integration processes. Methodology of research. Theoretical and methodological basis of the work were the positions of scientists on the problems of the international division of labor and international economic integration, and general scientific and special methods. In the process of research, the methods of generalization, analysis, and historical and economic methods were used to study the development of theories of the international division of labor; abstract-logical – to form conclusions. Findings. The analysis of the development of theories of international division of labor has been carried out since the XVIII century, in particular, attention is paid to the causes and periods of the emergence of theories and the emergence of a new theory of international division of labor, which does not deny the classical theory. The question of the role of the development of scientific and technical progress, integration processes, incomes, etc. is considered and their influence on the international division of labor. Originality. Research of development of theories of MPP is deep in direction of account of reasons, changes and concrete periods. A parallel is being drawn between the study of the international division of labor and the development of international economic integration. Practical value. The results of the research are aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of intra-industry trade, which is especially important in the current conditions of deepening globalization, and – the development of inter-industry trade in and outside integration groups.
