DEVELOPMENTAL POSSIBILITIES AND LIMITS IN MODELS OF SELECTED REGIONAL SYSTEMS

Journal Title: FOLIA GEOGRAPHICA - Year 2008, Vol 47, Issue 1

Abstract

This paper attempts to assess the effects of several factors on spatial organisa- tion, regional disparities and development in two marginal districts of eastern Slovakia (Bardejov and Rimavská Sobota) that belong to the group of regions most impacted by transition. The structural analysis method setting up chorems is used to represent and help to understand spatial organisation and developmental possibilities and limits of the studied districts.
