DIAGNOSIS AND STUDY OF CLINICAL FEATURES OF BILIARY TRACT DISEASES IN CHILDREN
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2025, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
The given article investigates biliary tract diseases (gallbladder and bile ducts) in children and their clinical manifestations. The study involved 127 children aged 3 to 14 years. Modern diagnostic methods, including ultrasound, radiology, and laboratory analyses, were used to identify biliary system diseases. The findings revealed that these conditions are often associated with hypo motor dysfunction, functional disorders, chronic cholecystitis, and cholangitis. The study highlights that biliary tract diseases are more prevalent among female children, particularly during puberty. Clinical symptoms included subcostal pain, dyspepsia, vomiting, and intestinal issues. The results provide valuable insights into the age- and gender-related distribution of biliary tract diseases in children.
