Diagnostics of Motor Oil Quality by Using the Device Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance Phenomenon
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Engineering and Technology - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 4
Abstract
We demonstrate the possibility to examine quality of motor oil by using the method of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for comparing values of refractive indexes inherent to initial and used oil. It was experimentally shown that the SPR method can be applied for examining quality of motor oils for controlling their quality and wear factor of machinery and mechanisms. Simulation of streamflow using soil and water assessment tool (SWAT) in Meenachil river basin of Kerala, India
The main objective of the study was to test the performance and feasibility of SWAT 2005 model for prediction of streamflow in Meenachil river basin, Kerala. The model was calibrated and validated for three gauging stati...
Evaluation of Water Flooding Development Effect by Using Water Storage Rate and Water Flooding Index
Because the edge water is not active and natural energy field is not sufficient, it is quite difficult to develop the low permeability reservoir. The formation pressure can be supplied through water flooding which is the...
Effectiveness of Palm Kernel Shells as Packings for Biogas Chemical Scrubbing at Ambient Conditions
Bio-methane is a flammable renewable energy resource processed an-aerobically from biomass which includes municipal wastes, farm animal wastes, and vegetable/food wastes among others. The raw bio-methane produced contain...
