DIAGNOSTICS OF THE STRESSED STATE OF FUEL METAL USING THE T.E.M.F. METHOD

Abstract
The article deals with the possibility of using the thermoelectric NDT method for selecting the wear-resistant surfacing of steel that increases the durability of stamping tools. It is shown that to improve the wear resistance of the surface of tool dies it is desirable to use alloys in which combined with the brand of the processed material the total T E.M.F. tends to zero. It is established that the application of thermoelectric express NDT method allows one to quickly determine the most dangerous local places of potential damage
