DIAGNOSTICS OF THE WEAR INTENSITY OF ENGINE OIL DURING OPERATION

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2012, Vol 246, Issue 6

Abstract

The paper presents the results of engine oil performance characteristics in the context of diagnosis. Diagnostic tests include the kinematic viscosity of engine oil, and the friction coefficient values obtained for the reference absorbency changes in the IR spectrometry. Oil samples were collected for testing an internal combustion engine during its operation.
