Abstract
Component-resolved diagnostics /CRD/ is used to map the allergen sensitization of a patient at a molecular level using purified natural or recombinant allergenic molecules instead of allergen extracts. One of the most important implications of CRD is the ability to distinguish genuine sensitization from sensitization due to cross-reactivity. CRD help the clinician evaluate the risk of systemic versus local reaction, may decrease the need for provocation testing and improve recommendation for allergen avoidance, it’s also useful in allergen immunotherapy ............................... Diagnostyka molekularna /component-resolved diagnostics , CRD/ umożliwia ocenę uczulenia na alergen na poziomie komponent alergenowych przy użyciu naturalnych lub rekombinowanych alergenów w miejsce ekstraktów alergenowych. Jednym z najważniejszych wskazań do badań metodą CRD jest odróżnienie pierwotnego uczulenia od reakcji krzyżowych. Metoda ta umożliwia przewidywanie ryzyka wystąpienia reakcji systemowych, zmniejsza częstość wykonywania prób prowokacyjnych i poprawia zalecenia dotyczące eliminacji alergenu z diety. Ze względu na możliwość oceny pierwotnego uczulenia CRD powinno być wskazane w kwalifikacji do swoistej immunoterapii alergenowej
