DIALOGIC DIMENTIONS OF EMIL BRUNNER’S “HIGH CHRISTOLOGY”

Abstract

The author analyses the main features of Emile Brunner’s “High Christology”; the special attention is accented on maintenance of his conception of revelation as an encounter of “I” and “Тhou”, man and God, on Brunner’s analysis of paradoxical unity of revelation and its verbal fixing in text of Bible. The article stresses the connection of understanding of truth as encounter of personality of man and Personality of God with the tradition of dialoguism in the existential philosophical thought of ХХth century, first of all, with M. Buber’s dialectics of “I – Thou” relation.
