Did heresies exist in Premongolian Rus? (statement of a problem)

This article cover discussion question about to the existence of heresies in the Ancient Rus. There are the Old Russian literature as well as works of Byzantine, West European and South Slav authors is analyzed. The sufficient liberal views of ecclesiastical figures in Rus and his openness to adoption of religious ideas from without is substantiated
