Abstract
Das Ziel und der Zweck dieser Beitrag soll darin bestehen, eine Antwort auf die Frage zu liefern, wie die Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik der Türkei zu klassifizieren ist und wo die primären Ziele zu suchen sind. Mit der Arbeit will ich einen wissenschaftlich fundierten Beitrag zur gegenwärtigen Diskussion um die Türkei leisten, in dem ich mich bemühen werde, einen kritischen Blick auf die Entstehung und Entwicklung der Beziehungen der Türkei zu den USA und der EU und die heutige Realität der Administration zu werfen. Die Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik der Türkei und ihre Beziehungen zu den USA und der EU werden anhand des eigens dafür erstellten Forschungsrasters, kombiniert mit hinzugefügten historisch-analytischen Gesichtspunkten einer Analyse unterzogen, woraus dann die Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik der Türkei, zumindest bis zu einem gewissen Grad, erklärt werden kann.
