Abstract

Manju Kapur is the most famous contemporary Indian English woman novelist. She is a great realist as her main concern is to draw the attention of society towardsvarious oppressive measures of patrioriarchy. She possesses the power to captivate the attention of the reader from the beginning to the end of her writing. Her novels present an idea of the feminist struggle against patriarchy, oppression, exploitation and other social biases.
