Diffusion limits for the queue length of jobs in multi-server open queueing networks
Journal Title: Operations Research and Decisions - Year 2017, Vol 27, Issue 4
Abstract
A mathematical model of a multiserver open queueing network in heavy traffic is developed. This model is that of a multiserver computer system network in heavy traffic. A limit theorem for the length of the queue has been presented.

The goal of this paper is to present a summary of various simulation methods applied to health services and to discuss several internal and external determinants for selecting a particular simulation method to study a gi...
The effectiveness of discriminant models based on the example of the manufacturing sector
The best models of bankruptcy prediction have been selected that can indicate the deteriorating situation of a company several years before bankruptcy occurs. There are a lot of methods for evaluating the financial state...
Equilibrium strategies in a fiscal-monetary game. A simulation analysis
The results from a simulation analysis of the policy-mix have been presented, carried out in a fiscal-monetary game, in which fiscal and monetary authorities make decisions from the point of view of realizing their own r...
Determining an estimate of an equivalence relation for moderate and large sized sets
This paper presents two approaches to determining estimates of an equivalence relation on the basis of pairwise comparisons with random errors. Obtaining such an estimate requires the solution of a discrete programming p...
