Din-Toplum İlişkisi Bağlamında “Dinsel İtibar” Kavramı Üzerine Teorik Bir Değerlendirme

Abstract
Religion has been revealed its efficiency in all steps, beginning from the construction process of the social structure to the development stages in various ways. Religious images and religious typologies had more chance to be visible and to make possible this visibility to represent itself in a categorical continuesness in the traditional structures in which religion is functional as a unique legitimization mechanism. The prestige of religiously-based status patterns in modern societies have been constructed by different parameters. In this study, it is tried to discuss theoretically how religion and its main elements which are efficient in forming social structures positioned in different mentalities in view of the concept of religious prestige.
