DIRECT MAXILLARY SINUS LIFT WITH SIMULTANEOUS IMPLANT PLACEMENT: A CLINICAL AND RADIOLOGICAL EVALUATION
Journal Title: IJAR-Indian Journal of Applied Research - Year 2017, Vol 7, Issue 12
Abstract
Maxillary sinus pneumatisation along with resorption of the alveolar bone result in reduced height of residual alveolar bone. Various methodologies have been introduced to elevate the sinus membrane. Direct and indirect sinus lift procedures aid in lifting the sinus membrane, permitting implant placement. This case report discusses one such case of reduced deficient alveolar bone height which was managed by direct sinus elevation for placement of implant
