DIRECTIONS AND INSTRUMENTS PROVIDING MONEY BALANCE IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPLEMENTING EFFECTIVE MONEY-CREDIT POLICY IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article outlines the negative consequences of the existence of money supply imbalances that negatively affect the efficiency of the functioning of the financial system of the state, the qualitative performance of its functions and tasks, in particular, in terms of creating prerequisites for a balanced and integrated socio-economic development of the state. Identified and substantiated trends, tools and their respective means of balancing the money supply in the context of implementing an effective state monetary policy in Ukraine. The directions of state policy include: stabilization of the value of the national monetary unit, optimization of the structure of the money supply, development of payment systems and the market of electronic money, improvement of the system of macro prudential regulation. The main instruments of the state policy of balancing the money supply are defined: mandatory reserve requirements, interest rates and subsidies, recapitalization of the banking system, securities transactions, NBU mobilization operations, direct lending.
