DIRECTIONS OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT MECHANISM IMPROVEMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS ACTIVITY

Abstract
The article highlights the importance of the effective functioning of higher education institutions in ensuring the society development. The conceptual foundations of the financial mechanism of the higher education institutions functioning are considered. It is also revealedthe importance of the financial mechanism in the formation of an effective system of higher education. The international experience in higher education institutions financing and the role of the government in the implementation of financial assistance to students is described. The directions of improvement of the mechanism of financial support of higher education institutions activity are proposed and grounded.
