DISPERSED LIQUID AND SOLID FUELS COMBUSTION IN AN ELECTRICAL DISCHARGE PRESENCE

Abstract

The preliminary results of two-phase flame in the presence of high-voltage, highfrequency electric discharges are presented. The investigations were carried out for liquid and solid organic fuel dispersed in air, as well as a dust flame of metal particles. The streamer discharge influence on gas-dispersed fuel combustion and flame condition stabilization is investigated. The basic physicochemical mechanisms of a two-phase medium ionization effect on the homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions kinetics together with mass-heat transfer processes in nonequilibrium dusty plasma conditions during the single particles and aerosuspensions combustion are discussed.
