Abstract

Nocardiae are aerobic actinomycetes found ubiquitously in nature across the world, with more propensity in warm and humid regions. Primary mode of its transmission is air through respiratory tract.1 Nocardiae, primarily an opportunistic pathogen, produces infections in immunocompromised individuals, but sometimes it can cause infections in immunocompetent patients as well.2
