Distributed Operating System: An Overview
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 10
Abstract
Distributed operating systems have many aspects in common with centralized ones, but they also differ in certain ways. As distributed computing becomes more widespread, both in high-energy physics and in other applications, centralized operating systems will gradually give way to the distributed ones. This paper is intended as an introduction to distributed operating systems.
