Dizziness: Smell the Smoke!
Journal Title: Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research - Year 2018, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
ABSTRACT Dizziness in a child is often mistaken for giddiness, vertigo or syncope and at times it is considered equivalent to malingering or foolishness. We hereby report a case of a child whose dizziness stayed neglected and unevaluated for three years. This case is an eye opener for physicians to not take the symptom lightly. A detailed assessment and prompt evaluation can seriously unmask the underlying morbidity like Moyamoya Disease (MMD).
