DOCRINAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GENESIS OF THE INSTITUTE OF MATERNITY AND DIFFERENCE IN UKRAINE: THE HISTORICAL ASPECT

Abstract
The article describes the historical periods of the genesis of the institution of protection of motherhood and childhood, which made it possible to find out the preconditions for the emergence of the need for legal protection of various segments of the population (including women and children). The main tendencies of legal and organizational forms of protection of motherhood and childhood at different historical stages were also substantiated, ways of increasing the effectiveness of implementing the provisions of administrative legislation, which defines peculiarities of maternity and childhood protection in Ukraine, are proposed, in particular, taking into account European standards in this area.
