Abstract
This article shows how was the medieval evolution of Cehegín superficially until to go at first documents written where, in catholic age, appear Cehegín. Later, all attempts of castle’s demolition are described meticulously, with letters or documents, until the demolition in 20th century. The proccess likes that it didn’t receive adequate attention by national authorities.
