Drag and Drop: Influences on the Design of Reusable Software Components
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 7
Abstract
The fundamental unit of large scale software construction is he component. A component is the fundamental user interface object in Java. Everything you see on the display in a java pplication is a component. The ability to let users drag a omponent from the Interface and drop into your application is almost a requirement of a modern, commercial user interface. The CBD approach brings high component reusability and easy maintainability, and reduces time-to-market. This paper describes the component repository which provides unctionality for component reuse process through the drag and drop mechanism and it’s influences on the reusable components..

Algorithm for Solving Job Shop Scheduling Problem Based on machine availability constraint
Typically, general job shop scheduling problems assume that working times of machines are equal, for instance eight hours a day. However, in real factories, these working times are different because the machines may have...
Application of Markov Process Model and Entropy Analysis in Data Classification and Information Retrieval
This paper proposes a statistical approach by a modified arkov chain process model and entropy function in the analysis of a arge data set. The basic idea is that entropy nd conditional ntropy are used to measure the...
Routing in Highly Dynamic Ad Hoc Networks: Issues and Challenges
The aim of this research paper is to analyze the various issues and challenges involved in routing of data packets in highly mobile ad hoc networks. Routing in ad hoc networks has always been a challenging and tough task...
Human Age Prediction and Classification Using Facial Image
Human face is one of the most important sources of the information, which can be utilized for personal verification and identification. This paper discusses the method of finding the human age using the facial image of a...
An Useful Information Extraction using Image Mining Techniques from Remotely Sensed Image (RSI)
Information extraction using mining techniques from remote sensing image (RSI) is rapidly gaining attention among researchers and decision makers because of its potential in application oriented studies. Knowledge disco...
