Drug management of oxidation-reduction state of the body in respiratory tract diseases (part 1)

Abstract
The review of the literature presents the classification of antioxidant drugs. Modern data are presented on the inhibitors of NOX activity such as natural, synthetic (non-selective and selective), renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system blocking drugs and statins. The effect of statins on the oxidation-reduction status, inflammation and remodeling processes of the bronchial tree in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is shown.
