DRUNK DRIVING LAWS BULGARIA AND EUROPEAN UNION

Abstract
Road safety is a major societal issue and despite of the progress EU Commission achieved, the alcohol-impaired drinking and driving remains a serious problem. Many of the incidents caused by drunk driving are totally preventable if lowering the maximum blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and strict law enforcement. The article examines the legal limit of BAC and legislative measures in EU member states and Bulgaria.
