Dydaktyka nauk pomocniczych historii w Instytucie Historii Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego Jana Pawła II

Abstract
The article presents a brief outline of the history of auxiliary sciences of history at the Institute of History of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, and the research interests of scientific researchers concentrating their activities around the criticism and the hermeneutics of historical sources. The author devotes much attention to the role of Stanislaw Ptaszycki and Leon Bialkowski. The article also describes the patterns according to which was conducted the course of auxiliary sciences of history at the Section of History KUL in the interwar period, in the Polish People’s Republic and after its fall.
