"DYING METAPHYSICS" IN L. KARSAVIN’S "POEM ABOUT DEATH"

Abstract
Introduction. The main problem of this research is a question of the metaphysical measuring of the phenomenon of death in creative heritage of L. Karsavin. The purpose is to expose life, cognitive, cultural and existential status of the phenomenon of death in the Christian culture of thinking of the Russian philosopher. Methods. A few methods and receptions of research of the phenomenon of death were simultaneously used in-process. Foremost, the question is about phenomenological, hermeneutics and comparative analysis. Results. The problem of death in philosophical anthropology for a thinker was transformed in the problem of the metaphysical measuring of all human life. A question about metaphysics of death became to the questions of plenitude of cognition of all personality life. Cognition of essence and nature of death is this motion of idea of man against animal fear before her. Originality. It was set during an analysis, that the attempt of the Russian thinker to expose metaphysical nature of death of man destroys an analysis in the sphere of Christian mysticism and moral divinity. Circumstance that death is one of not many fundamental categories of culture, grounds to suppose that she is able to find the value for a man only together with self-knowledge and cognition of God. Conclusion. The metaphysical comprehension of problem of the phenomenon of death must be examined in the context of questions of life and nonexistence. The questions of death and life lined up by a scientist in the context of comprehension of all semantic field of culture. In the cultural prospect all questions of the metaphysical measuring of the phenomenon of death for the Russian philosopher stand rather the article of theology than philosophy.
