Early Modern Era Intellectuals on Education and Upbringing of Children

Abstract
The article examines the concepts and approaches of European and native intellectuals of early modern era regarding upbringing and education of children. It also considers their understanding of the meaning of family, its microclimate, parents’ attitude toward their children, and the role of parental example in raising children.
