ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC SAFETY OF THE ENTERPRISE: THEORETICAL ASPECTS

Abstract
Strategy for sustainable development of the economy is determined by the level of national security. Its main components include environmental and economic security development. Economic security is now very dependent on the condition of ecological systems. In the process of production, activities of enterprises actively influence on all the regional subsystems – economic, social, and environmental. Theoretical aspects of the definitions of national, economic and environmental security, ecological and economic security are presented. Practical recommendations on the clarification of the concept of ecological and economic security of the enterprise are developed. It is theoretically proved that the system of management of ecological and economic safety of the enterprise is a synergistic combination of the elements influencing environmental performance of the company, having an impact on its economic status. The experience of the developed countries shows that the capacity of the Institute of ecological and economic security, are concerned with both the government and the enterprise. The state ensures effective activity of enterprises. The enterprises are interested in its economic security. At the legislative level, the state forms the conditions for functioning of enterprises and coordinates the interests of economic agents based on the realization of principles of justice and efficiency. Ecological and economic problems of the activities of enterprises are defined as the conflict between the global nature of environmental crisis and imperfection of the existing mechanisms of environmental safety of enterprises. Real direction of ecological and economic development in implementing production and business activities of enterprises is presented. The purpose of their production activities should comply with environmental requirements of the society and the concept of sustainable and environmentally sound development. Thus, development of the economy is possible only with obligatory consideration of environmental requirements, practical application of relevant knowledge, which implies the process of ecological production, aimed at reducing the necessity to attract natural resources to industrial production.
