ECONOMIC CONTENT AND FUNCTIONS OF SOCIAL CAPITAL IN THE SYSTEM OF ECONOMIC RELATIONS

Abstract
The economic nature of social capital, the features of its study as a resource, institution, and public good were investigated. It was found that development of theory of sustainable development contributed to the search for new factors of production, which actualized the study of social capital as a restorative resource of the individual, community, society and the internal potential of the economic system. Specifications of social capital were specified. The peculiarities of the development of the concept of social capital were established.
