ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AS A FACTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

Abstract
The theoretical bases of the efficiency of production are investigated and the ways of improving the current conditions in the functioning of the agricultural commodity producers are determined. A variety of definitions of the term "efficiency" is also investigated. The characteristic of the main directions of growth of economic efficiency in Ukraine is provided. It is proved in some examples that the final indicator of the efficiency of the agricultural enterprise is profitability. Reasonably that economic efficiency displays the final result of the use of all production resources and is determined by comparing the results obtained and the costs of production resources. It is proved in the process of scientific research that it is necessary to implement a set of special measures for increasing of economic efficiency of production in the agricultural sector.
