Economic intelligence in organisation and politics - from theory to practice

Abstract

The aims of this article is to analyze intelligence activities in both the economy as well as in the politics. The fundamentals of economy intelligence derived from the military intelligence. Many techniques and modes of action, which are using in the military, have been successfully implemented in the civil intelligence. As the cases used in the paper exemplified: intelligence activity in the business and management field is not exactly new phenomenon. Nowadays collecting information about competition is often conducted by professional companies. The goal of this companies is collecting information about new technology, personal data and databases. That is why prevention from business intelligence become more and more important.
