Economic problems of Value-Based Management: analysis of dissertation theses defended in Ukraine

Abstract
The analysis of dissertations defended in Ukraine for the specialty 08.00.04 «Economics and Management of Enterprises», which raises the economic issues of the application of Value-Based Management for Ukrainian enterprises, has been done. Such dissertations appeared in the early 2000's and up to this day the popularity of this topic has not decreased. The main tendency of the development of the economic issues of Value-Based Management in Ukrainian dissertations is defined as gradual transition from the general themes of the study of the concept basics to the deepening of the issues in the context of the specification of industries, objects of management in the system, types of enterprise value, etc. The greatest attention of Value-Based Management implementation is attracted for the enterprises of machine-building, food and building industry and the most popular issues are identified as value factors and valuation of the enterprise. The list of tasks for building the unified conceptual model of Value-Based Management for Ukrainian companies is presented.
