Economic Value Added Based Performance Measurement

Abstract
This paper attempts to make an analysis of the performance of selected companies using Economic Value Added (EVA). Under the study of this research, three companies from Indian Aviation Industry have been considered – Interglobe AviationLtd. , Jet Airways, SpiceJet. Financial Statements and information of these companies have been analysed for the calculation of EVA and it is further used as a factor for calculation of value of these companies in order to support and provide convenience to investor decision making.
