Effect of internal heat generation and injection through one side of a long vertical channel embedded in porous medium with transpiration cooling

Abstract

This paper deals with Effect of Internal heat generation and injection through one side of a long vertical channel embedded in porous medium with transpiration cooling. The non linear partial differential equations governing the problem under consideration have been transformed by similar transformation into a ordinary differential equations. The governing equations are solved by using Adam-moultan Predictor-Corrector method with the help of Newton Raphson Method for finding missing initial conditions. The results are shown graphically for velocity, temperature and concentration profiles. The Effects of Reynolds number, Prandtl number, heat generation parameter are discussed.
