They were divided into 2 groups: group A performed with music and group B performed without music condition HIIT. To control for order effects, trial order was counterbalanced. Mood was assessed pre and post using Abbreviated Profile Of Mood State (POMS ), RPE and affect were taken over time using the Borg CR-10 scale and the Feeling scale respectively , enjoyment was assessed post HIIT using the Physical Activity Enjoyment Scale (PACES ) . From the present study it was concluded that music had positive effect on enjoyment , affect and rate of perceived exertion and has no effect on mood in high intensity interval training exercise when compared to without music conditioned High intensity interval exercise , and thus may increase the exercise adherence to it .
