Effect of Strategic Planning on the Performance of Higher Educational Institutes

Abstract
The study addresses the impact of strategic planning on the performance of higher education institutions implementing it on the Blue Nile University in the period between 2013 -2015 , the primary objective of this study was to examine the impact of strategic planning on the performance of higher education institutions, to achieve this objective the study used the descriptive ,analytical and historical approach, as the study is based on data and information from secondary sources such as reference and books.A questionnaire was distributed to a selected sample of the study population of Blue Nile University. The study concluded that, planning in all its stages, types, and levels, has an effect on the performance of the higher educational institutions. The study concluded that, planning in all its stages, types, and levels, and data availability have an effect on the performance of the higher educational institutes.The study concludes that planning stages, its fields ,types and levels, have an impact on the performance of higher education institutions.
