Effect of Variable Axial Force on the Deflection of Thick Beam Under Distributed Moving Load
Journal Title: Asian Research Journal of Mathematics - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 3
Abstract
The effect of variable axial force on the deflection of thick beam under moving load is investigated in this research work. In order to obtain solution to the dynamic problem, a technique base on the method of Galerkin with the series representation of Heaviside function, was first used to transform the equation and thereafter the transformed equations were solved using Struble’s asymptotic method and Laplace transformation techniques in conjunction with convolution theory. The closed form solution of the transverse displacement for moving force and moving distributed mass models for the dynamical problem obtained were calculated for various time t. Important features of the analysis were investigated and discussed.

In this paper, we will solve the Logistic and Riccati differential equations using VIM, shifted Chebyshev-spectral fourth kind methods and Hermite collocation method. Where we can from the numerical results we obtained t...
Thermo-diffusion and Diffusion-thermo Effects on MHD Micropolar Fluid Flow Over a Linearly Stretching Sheet, Through a Non-Darcy Porous Medium
In this paper, the thermo-diffusion and Diffusion-thermo effects on MHD micropolar fluid flow over a linearly stretching sheet, through a non -Darcy porous medium, where stretching velocity of the sheet varies linear...
Steady Oscillatory Flow in a Bifurcating Green Plant
Steady oscillatory flow in a bifurcating green plant is investigated. The channel is assumed axisymmetrical and porous; the fluid is Newtonian, incompressible, electrically conducting and chemically reactive but of the o...
