Effectivness of diadynamic currents in treatment of lumbosacral pain
Journal Title: Rehabilitacja Medyczna - Year 2016, Vol 20, Issue 3
Abstract
Low back pain occurs in the vast majority of people during their lives, i.e. 45- 85%. Most often, they are working people aged 30 to 60, who have no evidence of any abnormalities apart from overload-degenerative lesions within the spine. Applied treatment methods include physiotherapy. The kinesitherapy programme is complemented with electrotherapy (medium and low frequency currents). Diadynamic currents exhibit analgesic, myorelaxant and hyperemic effects.
