Effects of Electromagnetic Radiation Emitted from Mobile Phones on Different Physiological Systems and Possible Remedies

Journal Title: International Journal of Current Research and Review - Year 2017, Vol 9, Issue 24

Abstract

Aim: In this paper, we aim to provide a review of some of the studies which investigated the possible negative biological effects of mobile phone radiation on different mammalian systems. This review will provide answers to public concerns about the risks of using mobile phone. Background: Mobile phone has become an indispensable gadget for all. The growth in the use of mobile phones has raised concerns about the possible interaction between the electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation and the biological effects on mammalian systems, particularly the nervous, haematological, endocrine and reproductive systems. Conclusion: Our conclusion shows that long term exposure to EMF radiation may cause permanent damage to different mammalian systems. Finally, some studies have also showed no effects due to exposure to EMF. More long term studies and analysis are needed.
