Efficiency and safety of ibandronic acid: focus on the results of randomized researches and meta-analysеs

Abstract
This review provides current data about the efficacy, safety and tolerability of oral and parenteral forms of ibandronic acid, as well as its use in the complex treatment of systemic osteoporosis and its complications according to the results of randomized clinical trials and meta-analysеs. In addition, the results of comparative studies on the efficacy of ibandronic acid and other bisphosphonates are presented, its advantages and perspectives are analyzed.
