Abstract

The present research aims to analyze the sustainable tourism corridor and its impact on tourism development in the Pallatanga canton, with specific objectives such as the analysis of the regulatory framework, the definition of the Sustainable Tourism Corridor strategy, the identification of the interventions What have been done in the tourism sector and the determination of the incidence of tourism, for which research was used qualitative, quantitative. The modalities of the research were field, bibliographical-documentary, the technique of social intervention was used. The information processing plan was carried out on the basis of the procedures, review of the information collected. As the results of the current research, the regulatory framework that is in line with the tourism law, the community tourism regulation, the tourism law, the COOTAD, the National Plan for Good Living, after which it was concluded that A sustainable tourism corridor strategy where sustainability conditions were established, it was defined that from different sources of financing such as NGOs, provincial GADs, Pallatanga cantons, MINTUR with an approximate amount of US$ 511,328.00, finally determined the impact of tourism promotion on the associativity of tourism stakeholders, the generation of jobs, the strengthening of tourism infrastructure, promotion and dissemination and the empowerment of authorities and institutions in the intervention army raised in PLANDETUR 2020 , Led by the technical team of the Municipal GAD of Pallatanga, CODECH promoters of the strategy of sustainable tourism corridors of the basins of Chanchan and Chimbo, GADP of Chimborazo.
