El impacto de las remesas internacionales en el consumo privado del Perú: 1990-2017
Journal Title: REVISTA DE ANÁLISIS ECONÓMICO Y FINANCIERO - Year 2019, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
Currently, international migration is extremely important in an era where the globalization of wealth has brought with it a poor distribution of resources, that is, the "globalization of poverty." Migrants usually send monetary resources to their relatives or close people to support them in their economic development who reside in the country of origin of the migrant or another country outside the one in which they currently reside. These resources are called remittances. In Peru this has been increasing in recent years, and is correlated with consumption. The objective of this study is to measure the impact of international remittances in Peru in the period 1990-2017 using the autoregressive vector or mean error vector methodology.
