ELECTROCHEMICAL BEHAVIOR OF SULPHITE IONS IN THE TARTARIC ELECTROLYTE
Journal Title: Azerbaijan Chemical Journal - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper is devoted to electrochemical reduction of sulfite ions from tartaric acid electrolytes. Kinetics and mechanism of the process, the effect of some factors on electroreduction process of sulphite ions have been studied drawing the cyclic and linear polarization curves on the Pt electrodes. According to the obtained data the energy of activity and diffusional coefficient were calculated. The results obtained from calculation indicate that the electroreduction process of sulphite ions from solutions of the tartaric acid is accompanied by electrochemical polarization

KINETIC REGULARITIES AND MECHANISM OF THE REACTION OF PHENOL CYCLOALKYLATION BY CYCLOHEXENE
The kinetic model of the reaction of phenol cycloalkylation by cyclohexene. The order of energy activation and rate constants of each stage have been determined. It is shown that the proposed model depicts adequately the...
THE INVESTIGATION OF MICHAEL ADDITION OF ACETOACETANILIDE AND METHYL ACETOPYRUVATE TO SOME YLIDENECYANOACETAMIDES
It was established that by the Michael addition of substituted ylidenecyanoacetamides with ace¬to¬ace-ta¬ni¬lide in methanol media and in the presence of methyl piperazine at room temperature, various new substituted pyr...
SOME FEATURES OF THE REACTION OF MONOCHLORAMINES OF SULPHOACIDS WITH UNSATURATED COMPOUNDS
The reaction of monochloramide of benzene sulphonic acid with allyl chloride was studied. When using aprotic solvents chloro amidation reaction occurs, but with protic solvents ethylenechlorohydrin derivatives are formed...
A STUDY OF THE KINETICS AND MECHANISM OF THE SELECTIVE OXIDATIVE DEHYDROGENATION REACTİON OF CYCLOPENTANE TO CYCLOPENTADIENE-1,3 OVER MODIFIED ZEOLITE CATALYSTS
The reaction of cyclopentane has been studied on HY zeolite at 3800C. Cyclopentene and cyclopentadiene formed a stable initial product by the dehydrogenation of the raw material, although molecular hydrogen was not found...
