Electrochemical Characterization of Cathodized Copper Oxide Thin Films
Journal Title: Journal of Nuclear Physics, Material Sciences, Radiation and Applications - Year 2015, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
Cathodic electrodeposited copper oxide thin films were prepared using 0.1 M aqueous (distilled water) copper sulphate solution onto the surface of stainless steel substrates. Deposited samples were characterized for structural and morphological analysis using XRD and SEM. Prepared samples were also analyzed using cyclic voltammetry, charge-discharge and impedance spectroscopy. electrode shows nearly rectangular capacitive behavior. The highest specific capacitance of 62 F/gm was calculated at scan rate 1 mV/sec in 1 M Na2SO4 electrolyte. The internal resistance observed from Nyquist plot which is about 1.95 Ω. Using ZsimpWin software matched equivalent circuit and circuitry parameters were reported.

Analysis of the Energy Deposit in the Air by Radiation of Alpha Particles Emitted by the Water of a Spring Through the Geant4 Software
This work presents the development of an analysis of the potential radiological risk generated by alpha particles emitted by radon-222, content in a spring water, for the population that usually swims in the place and fo...
Determination of the Thermal Neutron Flux by Measuring Gamma Radiations with High and Low Resolution Detectors
Thermal neutron flux (Фth) of Americium-Beryllium (Am-Be) neutron source has been measured by adopting the foil activation method. The neutrons emitted from Am-Be source are used to activate the indium-115 (115In) foil....
Cosmologically Strengthening Hydrogen Atom in Black Hole Universe
With reference to the earlier proposed black hole model of cosmology, the authors proposed a unified model mechanism for understanding the light emission mechanism in cosmologically ‘strengthening hydrogen atom’. In this...
Development of Silicon Sensor Characterization System for Future High Energy Physics Experiments
The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) is one of the general purpose experiments at the Large hadron Collider (LhC), CeRN and has its tracker built of all silicon strip and pixel sensors. Si sensors are expected to play extreme...
Properties of Rotating Neutron Star
using the nuclear equation of states for a large variety of relativistic and non-relativistic force parameters, we calculate the static and rotating masses and radii of neutron stars. From these equation of states, we ev...
