ELECTRONIC REGISTER OF THE MEDICAL CERTIFICATES SPECIFICS AND FUNCTIONS RELATED TO THE PREVENTION OF ABUSE IN THE HEALTH INSURANCE SYSTEM

Abstract
This paper studies the specifics of the established system of the electronic register of the medical certificates by taking into account its characteristics related to the development, nature and relevant stakeholders in the context of the increasing digitisation of the health insurance mechanism. Based on the analysis, conclusions and recommendations regarding its status and development are derived, given the current social and economic parameters and the legal framework.
